September will blow in Monday with high winds in parts of western and south-central Minnesota.
A wind advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for an area that includes Alexandria, Long Prairie, Morris, St. Cloud, Montevideo, Willmar, Litchfield, Granite Falls, Redwood Falls, New Ulm, Pipestone and Luverne.
Another area that includes Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, New York Mills and Wadena will be under a wind advisory from noon until 7 p.m.
