Twin Cities Women Love Vascellaro's Locks

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― We here at WCCO-TV all know Frank Vascellaro has good hair. He reminds us on a daily basis.

Apparently, most local women feel the same way about Vascellaro's sartorial credentials.

A survey conducted by Fantastic Sams of Minnesota found that Vascellaro's coiffure was local ladies' top choice among the Twin Cities' male anchors. He netted 25 percent of the hair vote. His closest competition came from KARE-TV's Sven Sundgaard and Mike Pomeranz.

Vascellaro's wife and WCCO-TV co-anchor Amelia Santaniello came in second among local women anchors. KARE-TV's Belinda Jenson was the winner in that race.

Fantastic Sams surveyed 200 women to obtain these results.

Vascellaro -- who a few years back was featured in a WCCO promotion wherein he assured the public his hair was, in fact, real -- was not available for comment. He was busy teasing his luscious locks.
