Sox-Yankees First Pitch Coming From Outer Space

Expect something out of this world before tonight's Red Sox-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown from outer space.
NASA astronaut Dr. Garrett Reisman will throw out the first pitch from the International Space Station, which is about 200 miles above the Earth.
The pitch will be broadcast on the JumboTron screens inside the Stadium, but the Yankees won't say who is catching it.
Reisman, 40, of Parsippany, N.J., docked at the International Space Station on March 12.
He's a lifelong Yankee fan. According to
mlb.com, he brought dirt from the mound at Yankee Stadium to the space station, along with a Yankee banner and a hat autographed by George Steinbrenner.
Game time is 7:05 p.m. Chien-Ming Wang will start for the Yankees against Red Sox rookie Clay Buchholz.
