He's not a super-villain, but the man who killed Gwen Stacy will be at a comic book celebration on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds this weekend.
Gerry Conway is among 225 comic book creators expected to attend the Midwest Comic Book Association's 21st annual FallCon in the State Fair Grandstand.
Conway killed off Stacy, Peter Parker's girlfriend, in the Spider-Man comic books. He also co-created The Punisher.
Other comic book creators scheduled to attend include underground cartoonist Peter Bagge and DC Comics artist Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez.
FallCon runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $11 for adults -- good for both days -- with $1 off for a canned food donation. Children 9 and under are free.

The MCBA described the event as "60,000 square feet of comic book action." Out-of-towners were offered a discount to stay at the Radisson Hotel in Roseville.
