What's The Gift For 70 Years Of Marriage?

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (WCCO) ― A husband and wife in St. Louis Park have a real reason to celebrate -- 70 reasons.

Harry and Sarah Shapiro marked 70 years of marriage on Sunday. Harry will be 94 next Saturday and Sarah is 91.

They said their romance started at a dance.

Harry and Sarah shared their secrets to making a marriage last:

"Be kind to one another, learn to tolerate your differences. Never go to bed without a goodnight kiss, no matter what your differences are during the day," said Harry.

On their anniversary, the couple reminisced about their lives together. They said when Harry came back from World War II, he hugged Sarah so hard that he broke three of her ribs.
