Brett Favre's family is ready for his return to Green Bay if he plays for the Minnesota Vikings.
Favre's family and friends have booked 25 to 30 rooms at the Midway Motor Lodge near Lambeau Field for the weekend of the Vikings game against the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 1.
Midway manager Doug Warpinski (war-PIN'-skee) says the quarterback's family and friends routinely stayed at the hotel for home games in Favre's final years with the Packers.
Given the uncertainty of Favre's return for a 19th season, family and friends would be off the hook if Favre remains retired. They don't have to guarantee payment for the rooms until 45 days before check-in.
When Favre retired in February for the second time, he blamed a partially torn biceps tendon for his poor play late in the season with the New York Jets. ESPN has reported Favre had arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder in May.

In the begining of May, a source said that a condition of Farve coming to Minnesota will be based on X-rays of his shoulder, which have been sent to the Vikings for review.
