Man Questioned By Police For Unruly Plane Behavior

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) ― Police in Rochester say they're trying to determine whether a Northfield man should face criminal charges after flight attendants said he was unruly and removed him from a U.S. Airways flight that had stopped in Rochester.

The plane was supposed to land in Minneapolis but was diverted to Rochester International Airport on Sunday evening, possibly because of bad weather.

Police Lt. Scott Tulius says the man was upset that the plane was diverted. He allegedly stomped his feet and banged his fists in the area around his seat.

If local investigators decide the man should face charges, evidence will be forwarded to federal authorities. The man was not arrested.
