Diamond Lake Road Bridge To Close Monday

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) ― Diamond Lake Road Bridge spanning I-35W will be closed at 9 a.m. Monday, meaning detours and congested traffic for local motorists.

The bridge will reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Motorists traveling east on Diamond Lake Road should head to Nicollet Avenue South and then head north on Nicollet to 50th Street.

Motorists traveling west on Diamond Lake Road should head to Portland Avenue South and go north to 50th Street.

The closure is part of the Crosstown Reconstruction project.

Pedestrian access across I-35W will be available on Diamond Lake Road during the closure. Access will also be available at the 42nd, 46th, 50th and 60th street bridges.
