Officials who operate the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are planning to update their long-term plans for the facility after nearly 14 years.

Another open house will follow on Wednesday in Eagan.
The long-term comprehensive plan used by the Metropolitan Airports Commission to guide improvements at the airport was approved in 1996. Commission officials say the plan needs freshening to reflect changes in everything from security regulations to the type of aircraft that use the airport.
Once approved, the new plan will help prioritize airport improvements for several years.
