Police Seeking Second Suspect In Montrose Killing

Buffalo, Minn. (AP) ― The Wright County Sheriff's Office says the killing of a woman near Montrose last weekend may be related to a burglary at a nearby residence where several guns were stolen on Aug. 1.

Fifty-eight-year-old Ruth Ouverson was found dead in her home in Marysville Township on Saturday. Her dark blue 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken from her home and is still missing. The license number is HVT-377.

The sheriff's office says a man driving the missing vehicle was filmed on surveillance takes at a Monticello convenience store on Tuesday. Authorities say a man also was seen using the victim's ATM card at a convenience store in Buffalo last Friday. While at the Buffalo store, the man asked customers for directions to Interstate 94, and mentioned North Dakota.

The sheriff's office says a man and woman were seen walking near the home where the guns were taken, and says the man resembles the person in the ATM photos. The woman is described as being Caucasian in her 20s wearing gray military camouflage style pants and a black T-shirt.
