Minnesota K-9 Wins Top Honors

Austin, Minn. (AP) ― A police dog from the Mower County sheriff's office has done it again.

Tazer, a Belgian Malinois, was named national champion at the 36th annual U.S. Police Canine Association police dog field trials last week in Indiana.

It's the fourth year in a row Tazer has been named best police dog in America. No other dog has ever won the title more than two years in a row.

Tazer's handler is Mower County Sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Ellis.
