The Minnesota Vikings have placed backup defensive lineman Darrion Scott on injured reserve, ending his season.
Scott was seen on crutches in the locker room Tuesday with an apparent problem with his left foot suffered during practice. He had participated in drills during the portion of the workout that was open to the media.
Team officials haven't released any information on the nature of his injury.
Scott was in his fourth season out of Ohio State. The former third-round draft pick had three tackles and one quarterback hurry in four games. He was behind Kenechi Udeze at left end.
To fill his roster spot, guard Brian Daniels was signed off the practice squad. Also, linebacker Cameron Siskowic was waived off injured reserve.
