Lawmaker's Domestic Assault Trial Delayed

The domestic abuse trial of state Rep. Mark Olson got pushed back a week on Monday.
Olson's trial on two misdemeanor counts of domestic assault was due to begin Monday. The new trial date is June 11. Sherburne County District Court Judge Alan Pendleton granted the continuance to accommodate Olson's change in attorneys.

Olson was suspended from the Republican caucus after his arrest, but there has been no attempt to remove him from the Legislature.
