House Explosion In North Minneapolis
Minneapolis (WCCO) ―
Minneapolis Police have reported a vacant house partially exploded in north Minneapolis this Friday afternoon.
According to Minneapolis Police, there were no injuries in the explosion.
The side of the house at 1642 Thomas Avenue North blew out, but the roof remains intact. The house had a "For Sale" sign out front.
Authorities are investigating a piece of cut copper pipe that they believe may have been responsible for a gas leak that subsequently caused the explosion.
