A 23-year-old Roseville man will start a 15-day, 350-mile bike tour on Saturday to raise awareness about solutions to stop climate change.
Reed Aronow is a Minnesota youth delegate to the Copenhagen climate negotiations in December. As his bike tour progresses, he and other riders will visit organizations, farms and businesses around Minnesota to talk about clean energy.
His tour includes stops at a wind farm in Avon, a farm in North Branch, a co-op in St. Peter and the Minnesota Zoo. He'll bike through Morris, Rochester, St. Cloud, Red Wing and a host of other cities.
His ride starts Saturday with a send-off at Harriet Alexander Nature Center in Roseville. It ends Oct. 24 with a rally at the Capitol that will call for action to stop climate change.
