Search For Missing SCSU Student To Resume

St. Cloud, Minn. (AP) ― St. Cloud Police Chief Dennis Ballantine now hopes the search for missing St. Cloud State student Scot Radel can resume Wednesday.

He says officials are hoping to bring in as many as three underwater cameras to resume searching the Mississippi River for Radel's body.

Radel's white baseball cap was found in the river nearly two weeks after he disappeared.

On Feb.2, Radel left a St. Cloud, Minn. bar and hasn't been seen since.

The search was called off just over a week ago when ice conditions worsened. But Ballantine says the ice is improving with the recent colder temps and if the cameras arrive from St. Louis County, they expect to start searching again Wednesday.
