Service Planned For Student's Family, Friends

St. Cloud, Minn. (WCCO) ― The official search for a missing St. Cloud State University student is on hold until Monday, but the support for his family continues.

Scot Radel disappeared a week ago while on his way to meet friends at a bar.

At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Campus Ministries will host a prayer service for Radel's friends and family at the Atwood Student Center on campus.

St. Cloud's police chief said search dogs have picked up Radel's scent near the Mississippi River.

Police fear he was disoriented and may have fallen in, but underwater cameras have turned up no leads.

Radel's family is clinging to the hope he didn't end up in the water.
