Student's Father Meets With Investigators

St. Cloud, Minn. (AP) ― The father of missing St. Cloud State student Scot Radel met with authorities Thursday to go over some of the evidence and determine the next course of action.

The 21-year-old student from Owatonna, Minn. disappeared two weeks ago and the hat he was wearing was found in the Mississippi River.

Although the family believes the missing student's body also is in the river, Allan Radel wants to know how his son got into the river.

Footprints matching Scot's found going across the parking lot leading up to the first bank show someone was running and fast. Radel wants to know why his son was running. He says it appears the person who was running then tumbled down a deep bank to the river.

Radel said he doesn't think his son just fell into the river. He says he thinks foul play was involved.
