Hwy. Sign Unveiled For Fallen Lino Lakes Officer

Roseville, Minn. (AP) ― An unveiling is scheduled today for the road sign for the Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial Highway.

Silvera is the Lino Lakes, Minn. police officer who died last year after being struck during a high-speed chase. He was trying to put out "stop sticks" on Interstate 35 when he was hit by a fleeing motorist.

Silvera had been with the Lino Lakes Police Department for seven years.
