Jury selection for the trial of former Minnesota Viking Moe Williams started Tuesday morning.
Williams is charged with indecent conduct, disorderly conduct and lewd or lascivious conduct for his actions on a chartered boat on Lake Minnetonka on Oct. 6.
Last month in court, Williams admitted to some of the behavior prosecutors described, but denied other allegations. Prosecutors accuse Williams of receiving a lap dance from a stripper aboard a boat operated by Al and Alma's Supper Club and Charter Cruises.
In a pretrial hearing, Williams said he was holding a drink and his wallet and did not touch the woman.
Jury selection began Tuesday in the case. Opening statements are expected Wednesday morning.
Three other Vikings were also charged in the case. Fred Smoot and Bryant McKinnie are in court again in May.
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper was also charged in the case, but those charges were dismissed earlier this month. He is no longer with the Vikings organization, having been traded to the Miami Dolphins last month.
Prosecutors said all were offered plea bargains in their cases and all turned them down.
