Woman Found In Ditch Identified

Northfield, Minn. (AP) ― Authorities released on Tuesday the name of a Twin Cities woman whose body was found in a ditch near Northfield, Minn.

She was Laura Lynn DeMeules, 33, of Blaine, Minn.

The Rice County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that DeMeules was last seen near 34th and Lake Street in Minneapolis around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities believe her body was left in the ditch sometime late Saturday or early Sunday.

Authorities were investigating her death.
