Robinson Pleads Not Guilty To Drunk Driving Charge

St. Peter, Minn. (AP) ― Green Bay Packers receiver Koren Robinson pleaded not guilty today to charges of drunken driving and fleeing police at a hearing in St. Peter, Minn.

Robinson was then taken into custody because he had a warrant out in Blue Earth County for a previous traffic violation.

Robinson's attorney immediately started working to get the $1,000 needed to clear up that case and get his client out of custody.

The more serious charges came when Robinson was still with the Minnesota Vikings. He led police officers on a high-speed chase from St. Peter to the Vikings' training camp headquarters in Mankato, Minn. on Aug. 15. Police say Robinson's blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.11. That's over the legal limit of 0.08.

The Vikings cut Robinson following the incident and he signed with the Packers in September. He said yesterday that he still planned to play in Sunday's game against Miami.
