Young girls go crazy over "Hannah Montana," the Disney TV character played by singer Miley Cyrus. She's coming to the Target Center for an October 21 concert and it is expected to sell out in minutes when tickets go on sale Saturday.
"It's going to be bigger the Van Halen. It's going to be bigger than Springsteen. It's going to be the biggest concert of the year," said Ticket King's Brian Obert.
For $30, people can join the Hannah Montana Fan Club that promises access to advance ticket sales.
Melissa Pohl wanted to give the tickets to her daughter for her 16th birthday, so she paid up. However, when Pohl went to Ticketmaster online right when it opened at 10 a.m. Tuesday, she said she could only find single tickets.
"I probably tried 15 to 20 times in half an hour and tried every half hour after that," she said. "It makes me angry."
Hannah Montana releases a certain number of tickets to the pre-sale. The Target Center would not release how many tickets that was. A spokeswoman did say this concert's pre-sale was the same procedure as other similar concerts.
Obert predicts a ticket will cost $100 or more. He has about 100 of them right now and bought them from people who are paid to buy tickets online.
"People who make their living doing it, they're good at it. They do it everyday, so maybe they have a little advantage there," he said.
Ticketmaster and the Target Center say they don't make any deals with the brokers.
General sales for tickets start at noon on Saturday. The show is expected to sell out in minutes.
