Man Killed When Thrown Off ATV

Canosia Township, Minn. (WCCO) ― A 44-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning after he was thrown off an ATV.

The accident happened in Canosia Township, near the intersection of Martin Road and La Vague Road.

Authorities responded to a report of an ATV rollover just after 5 a.m. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found a Canosia Township man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the man was westbound on Martin Road when the ATV rolled over, throwing the driver from the vehicle.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
