Vikings Sign 3 Remaining Draft Picks For 2008
MANKATO, Minn. (AP) ―
The Minnesota Vikings will arrive at training camp Wednesday evening with every player under contract. No holdouts this year, an easier task when a team doesn't have a first-round draft pick.
The Vikings signed three more rookies Wednesday afternoon and have locked up all five of their picks, two days before the first practice at Minnesota State University in Mankato.
Safety Tyrell Johnson, quarterback John David Booty and center John Sullivan all signed with the team. They were taken in the second, fifth and sixth rounds, respectively. Booty and Sullivan signed four-year deals.
