The Minnesota Timberwolves are nearing a dubious franchise record.
The Wolves lost their 13th straight game on Monday night in Los Angeles against the Clippers, matching the worst 14-game start in the franchise's 21 years. They also went 1-13 to begin the 1993-94 season.
The longest losing streak in team history is 16 games, set in the 1991-92 season. The Wolves also lost 14 in a row last season.
They host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and the Phoenix Suns on Friday before playing in Denver on Sunday. The Nuggets and Suns currently own two of the top four records in the Western Conference.
