Single-Game Twins Tickets On Sale Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― The inaugural season of the Minnesota Twins at Target Field is only about a month away and starting this weekend, baseball fans will be able to snag their seats.

Single-game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m., Saturday at the Twins' Web site, by calling (612) 33-TWINS (338-9467) or 800-338-9467, and at the Target Field Ticket Office on Target Plaza.

Tickets will be available at Twins Pro Shop locations starting Monday, March 15.

The Target Field seating capacity of 39,504 -- coupled with the team's record season ticket sales -- ensures that single-game tickets will be much more limited than in previous years at the Dome.

The team sold nearly 22,000 full season tickets. The Dome seating capacity is about 55,000.

The inaugural home opener on April 12, vs. the Boston Red Sox, and remaining two games of the opening series, April 14 and 15, are sold out.

The team warns that with Saturday's 9 a.m. ticket sales -- wait times in both the virtual waiting room at the team's Web site and by phone will be higher than usual.

The best way to secure your seats, according to team officials, is through a season ticket package. Fans can learn more about the season ticket options here.
