Injured 'Pacman' May Be Out For Rest Of Season

IRVING, Texas (AP) ― Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones might miss the rest of the season after injuring his neck against Pittsburgh.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Wednesday that Jones will miss Sunday's game against the New York Giants because of a herniated disk. Phillips said a second disk might be damaged but team doctors don't consider the injury career-threatening.

Jones was hurt when he fell on top of his muffed punt, getting caught in a scramble for the loose ball. After several players fell on him, Jones was pulled from the pile awkwardly by a Pittsburgh player.

It was Jones' first game back after a six-game suspension, the second time he has been banned by commissioner Roger Goodell for off-the-field issues.
