Marian Gaborik
Minnesota Wild
After a lackluster playoff performance, Wild star Marian Gaborik must prepare to discuss his contract status.
Next season is the final year of Gaborik's contract with Minnesota -- the only NHL team he's ever played for.
General manager Doug Risebrough says there's a strong chance Minnesota will either offer a hefty long-term extension to Gaborik or trade him to the highest bidder.
Gaborik says he'll have to talk to his agent and evaluate the past year. Gaborik led the Wild with 42 goals and also had 41 assists -- but he recorded just one assist in the losing playoff series against Colorado.
