Mary Beats Minn. St., Moorhead 24-17 In Overtime

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) ― Jamal Lomax's 2-yard run in overtime lifted the University of Mary to a 24-17 win over Minnesota State, Moorhead Saturday in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

It was the second touchdown of the game for Lomax, who also scored on a 5-yard run with 3:07 left to tie it at 17. Lomax ran 17 times for 71 yards.

The Marauders (3-4, 3-3) got a 15-yard touchdown pass from Jesse Kozak to Erik Kruse and a 34-yard Rett Thibodeaux field goal. Kozak was 11-for-32 for 122 yards.

Nick Scharpf caught two touchdown passes from Tyler Wegner for MSUM (1-6, 1-5). Wegner was 30-for-58 for 371 yards.

The Dragons led 17-10 after Logan Johnson's 22-yard field goal with 6:14 to play.
