Bobcats Goalie Signs With Gophers

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) ― Bismarck Bobcats goaltender Jake Kremer has signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Minnesota.

Kremer went 17-24-5 with a 3.30 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage last season for the junior hockey team. He also led the North American Hockey League with 1,475 saves and was second in minutes played, with 2,691.

Bobcats coach Byron Pool says Kremer's work ethic carried him to the next level.

Kremer is a native of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He says he grew up watching the Gophers, and getting a chance to play with the team is a dream come true.
