COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) ―
Rylan Galiardi had an empty-net goal and two assists as Minnesota State, Mankato defeated Colorado College 3-1 Saturday night, avenging a loss to the Tigers a night earlier.
Dan Tormey stopped 27 shots for the Mavericks (10-10-3, 6-8-2 WCHA).
Stephen Schultz scored the lone goal for Colorado College on a power play at 12:36 in the third period, but the Tigers still trailed 2-1.
Galiardi's goal with 41 seconds left put the game away.
Mick Berge scored a power-play goal in the first period, and Jason Wiley scored in the second to give Minnesota State a 2-0 lead.
Richard Bachman stopped 28 shots for Colorado College (12-7-5, 8-6-2).
