It will be Henry Sibley and Minnetonka for the big school boys basketball championship.
Mike Bruesewitz had 18 points and Peter Leslie scored 14 to lead Sibley to a 68-52 victory over Robbinsdale Cooper in the Class 4A semifinals today.
The Warriors will face Minnetonka on Saturday in the finals at Target Center.
Rodney Williams Junior led Cooper with 26 points. But he committed a costly technical foul midway through the second half that robbed the Hawks of their momentum.
Sibley used superior rebounding to turn a two-point deficit into a 14-point advantage in a matter of minutes. The Warriors created second-chance points on the offensive end and limited Cooper to one shot most trips down the floor to advance.
