May 22 - Daily Soaps Update

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

David manipulates Nikki by using his addiction to try to get her to join bank accounts with him. Paul and J.T. wonder if David's third ex-wife is hiding from David in Bermuda.  After some testing from J.T., David places a bet. Paul informs J.T. that he is going to Bermuda to find David's ex-wife.  Neil At the ranch, Victor lays into Adam about his mistake. Adam is blindsided when Victor attacks him about Natural Glow.   Victoria gloats over Adam's downfall over Natural Glow to Nikki.  At Newman, Adam asks Neil what the worst case scenario is for Newman Enterprises with this lawsuit. Sabrina shares with Victoria about Adam and Victor's discussion this morning.  Victoria runs into a beaten down Adam as Sabrina leaves.  Victoria offers Adam some advice on Victor.  Later, Victoria stops by Restless Style to offer her support to Nick and Sharon.  Adam takes Victoria's advice and offers Victor his apologies and solutions. Victor shares his pain over losing Cassie with Sabrina. Sharon talks to Cassie at her grave about the life she would be leading had she lived. Danny comes back into town and explains to Phyllis that he wants Daniel to go on tour with him. Nick and Sharon share a moment together at Cassie's Corner on the third anniversary of Cassie's death.  Later, Daniel explains to Amber about Cassie's death.  Phyllis warns Danny that today is an emotional day for Daniel but he decides to ask Daniel about the tour anyway.  Daniel gets excited about the prospective but worries what it means for his life in Genoa City, personally and professionally. As Daniel is about to explain to Amber about Danny's offer, she expresses her hurt that there has been only negative response to her designs in the magazine.  Phyllis worries that if Daniel goes on tour he may never come back to Genoa City.  Danny sweetens the deal for Daniel with concert tickets and a job opportunity.




THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 

Katie volunteers to help Donna obtain information regarding the child she had put up for adoption.  Donna fears that she may never see Marcus again and may have blown her one chance to reunite with her son.  Donna, who is late for a Forrester business meeting, prompts Eric's children to reveal their true feelings about her to Eric.  Ridge calls a private meeting to discuss how Forrester Creations needs a new leader; one whose wife will not bring scandal and shame to the company.  Brooke feels betrayed by Ridge's stand to additionally oust Donna and Rick from the company.  Marcus visits Donna at her office where she sneaks him in so no one can see.  Katie calls Donna to give her information about the adoption.  Donna and Marcus agree to meet Katie to discuss the situation.


AS THE WORLD TURNS 

The night of the school dance arrives. On the way out the door, Parker makes Jack and Carly promise they won't argue and embarrass him. Faith, meanwhile, is equally nervous about her parent's behavior at the party but all parents promise to behave. Later, however, when Holden
doesn't want to dance with Lily, her frustrations take over and she loses it in front of Faith. She takes Faith home and tries to apologize and then asks Holden to forgive her. Similarly, Jack yells at Carly for interfering and then later promises Carly he won't bully her.

At the dance, Parker has hopes of meeting up with Liberty. But she has other plans and makes out with Dylan right in front of a hurt Parker. He runs straight into Brad and Katie who are unsuccessfully trying to enjoy a Janet free night. Brad flips out at the news about Liberty but
Janet is able to calm him down. However, Janet privately slaps Liberty, warning her not to make the same mistakes she did. Liberty runs out and asks to spend the night with Katie and Brad.

With the dance in full swing at Al's, a frustrated Henry goes to try and get a piece of Gray's estate, hoping to change his and Vienna's futures. The lawyer turns out to be Bonnie who tells him he doesn't have a case. Henry relays this Vienna who can't help going to yell at Bonnie for being a sellout. Later, Bonnie gets fired for trying to take up Henry's cause. 



GUIDING LIGHT

Lizzie tells Bill she understands that he's trying to do the right thing for his child. Bill offers to let Lizzie stay with the company if she drops the lawsuit, but she declines. Lizzie's lawyer is confident they'll find something to take Bill down. Dinah shows up with flowers for Ava and talks her into inviting Jeffrey over for a big family dinner. Lizzie and Remy hate the Ava and Bill situation. Bill stares at Ava's stuff and downs a beer. Bill leaves Ava a post-it that says "Be Back Later" and slips out. Remy brings Ava food, as Lizzie tells Bill that what he doesn't understand is that business is always personal. Lizzie won't let him have Spaulding, saying there's only so much she'll let him take from her.

Mallet reads that Jeffrey plans on continuing the investigation on SPD corruption. Dinah says she'll handle Jeffrey. Rafe and Mallet play a game of catch, leaving Mallet more determined to protect Gus's memory. Mallet is further unsettled when Rafe tells him about the 512 twenty dollar bills Rafe found in Gus's jacket. Dinah wants Mallet to think about their relationship, but Mallet says he has to fix Gus's life before he can think of his own.
