April 28 - Daily Soaps Update
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
Here are the daily soap opera summaries for "The Young and the Restless," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "As The World Turns," and "Guiding Light."
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Victoria wakes up with Reed in her arms on the day of Reed's christening.
Before the christening, Nikki gives Victoria her Bible as a gift to always
remember how blessed she is. Adam finds Phyllis in a panic to get to the
christening on time and tries to help her out. Sabrina arrives with mail
for Restless Style and she and Adam get into a verbal sparring match about
Phyllis and Victor. At the Newman Ranch, Sabrina is acting as
lady-of-the-house, which bothers Nikki. Everyone reacts when Victoria comes
in to see Sabrina. Sabrina gives Victoria a thoughtful gift for Reed and
Victoria is touched despite herself. Nikki grows suspicious of all of David's
phone calls. Victor asks J.T. if Adam is coming. Later, everyone enjoys
themselves as they talk about family and children. Reed is christened as
everyone that loves him looks on. Sharon and Phyllis put Nick on the spot
asking him to side with one of them about the photos they are clashing over.
Nick sides with Phyllis, to Sharon's dismay. Victor makes sure Sabrina will
be at the christening with him. Lily becomes concerned that she was the
cause for Karen moving out but Neil assures her that everything will work
out for them if it is meant to be. Later, Neil and Cane have a heart to
heart about becoming a father. As Cane and Lily leave for the doctor, Neil
becomes nostalgic. Devon assures Neil that everything has worked out the
way it was meant to be. At the doctor, Cane and Lily learn more about the
baby and prepare for the ultrasound. After looking at the ultrasound, the
technician hurries to get doctor. Later, the doctor informs them that fetus was
reabsorbed and Lily has lost the baby. Lily bursts into tears when she
arrives home to an expectant Devon and Neil.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Ashley divulges to Ridge about her frightening evening with Storm. Tired of
Storm's actions lately, Ridge decides to call Lt. Baker to reveal to him
that Storm was the one who shot Stephanie. Lt. Baker chastises Ridge for
withholding this evidence for so long. Ridge calls Brooke to warn her that
the police are on their way to arrest Storm and that Storm will most likely
be spending the rest of his life in jail. Brooke spends some quiet time with
Storm and says some hurtful things to him about his recent behavior. After
hearing that the police are after him, Storm concocts a plan to divert the
cops and leaves a note behind.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Casey tells Margo that the hostage situation wasn't Emily's fault. Emily
defends her decision to print the article about the Judge and his nanny, but
Margo says she still doesn't want Casey working for Emily. Emily accuses
Margo of holding her affair with Tom against her. Later, Margo tells Casey
that she and Tom trust him to make his own decisions. Casey goes to get his job
back and Emily rehires him.
When Alison feels ill on her first day of nursing school, Chris takes care of
her. A nurse sees Chris trying to keep Alison warm and gets the wrong idea.
Chris tries to help Alison remove her stained blouse, and the nurse enters
again and catches them in another compromising position. Chris is about to
kiss Alison when his beeper goes off.
Liberty tells Brad that he is her father and shows him a picture of her
mother whom Brad remembers. Katie asks Liberty if she's willing to take a
paternity test. Liberty finds out the test results won't be available for at
least two weeks and Brad and Katie agree to let her stay with them in the
interim. There are no extra rooms at the Lakeview so Liberty has to stay in
Brad & Katie's suite.
Holden defends Carly, but she confesses that she deliberately chose not to
call Jack to let him know about Parker's injury. Jack threatens Carly with a
custody battle. Carly says she'll take Parker home, but Jack insists on
coming too. Carly tells Holden she doesn't think she and Jack will work
things out.
GUIDING LIGHT
Josh suspiciously watches Cassie talking to a young, good-looking neighbor
and questions her later about it. Cassie asks Josh if he will ever get over
her infidelity. Harley tells Cyrus he has to leave, but Cyrus comes up with
excuses to stay. Harley and Cyrus tear off each other's clothes and make
wild, passionate love. After, an emotional Harley watches Cyrus drive away. Josh
asks Harley to spy on Cassie for him. Harley is surprised to hear of
Cassie's infidelity but can't betray her. Later, Josh runs into Cyrus and
asks him to keep an eye on Cassie. Harley has just found out she's maxed out
another credit card. Josh and Cassie have just resolved to work things out when
Harley calls Josh and agrees to go ahead and spy on Cassie, as Cyrus
resolves to get Harley back.
Frank runs into Sheila, asks her why she set him up. Marina interrupts and
threatens to take Sheila to the police station for questioning. Frank asks
Marina to calm down and tells Sheila she's free to go. Sheila, moved by
Frank's heart, decides to help him. Sheila tells Dinah she no longer wants
to go through with their deal. Mallet tells Dinah he knows she paid someone to
set up Frank. Mallet and Frank try telling the Commissioner about the
set-up. Instead of exonerating Frank, Sheila does a 180 and claims he and
Marina threatened her and her daughter's safety. Mallet is furious with
Dinah and says she did it because she loves him and asks him to come by after
work. Instead of heading straight to Dinah's, Mallet invites Marina out for
a slice of pizza.
