Remembering The Life Of Bob Rainey

WCCO-TV sports reporter and weekend anchor Bob Rainey passed away Saturday morning after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was 46 years old. Rainey started at WCCO in April 2004 and said he was living his dream; the Twin Cities was a place he'd always wanted to work.

Bob Rainey spent more than 20 years as a sportscaster working in his hometown of Rochester, N.Y. and later Kentucky, Philadelphia, and Nashville, Tenn. before eventually landing in Minnesota in 2004.
