St. Paul's Traffic Art Signs

A former artist-in-residence with the St. Paul Public Works department, sculptor Steven Woodward came up with the idea of using art signs to slow down drivers.

Artist Steven Woodward tried to create signs that would catch drivers' attention. This one is clever -- the image of cats, but the text says, "birds."
