Out of 2,000 poems, 20 were picked to be stamped into St. Paul sidewalks. All of the poems are written by St. Paul residents who each received $150.

Dementia
I reach for a name, a song, a tune
and memories scatter,
minnows fleeing
a toothy pike.

I catch a few
laggards.
But know these are nothing
to the hundred fish that fled.
