South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford cited "moral legitimacy" when he was a congressman voting for President Bill Clinton's impeachment. In June 2009, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford admitted to having an affair. Newspapers in Argentina revealed that 43-year-old Maria Belen Chapur was the woman.
