Oscar De La Hoya became a household name as the "Golden Boy" after winning a gold medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Growing up in East Los Angeles, Oscar was a third-generation boxes who started training at age 6. De La Hoya reportedly had a 223-5 record in his amateur fight days. (AP)
