New York Man Pleads Guilty To RNC Vandalism

ST. PAUL (AP) ― A New York City man has pleaded guilty to breaking a Macy's department store window during the first day of last year's Republican National Convention in St. Paul.

Glenn D. Dyer, 26, was cheered on by other protesters as he broke the large display window Sept. 1. Ramsey County prosecutors said he was arrested a short time after leaving the scene to receive treatment for an injured wrist. The complaint said he cut his right wrist while breaking the window.

Dyer pleaded guilty as charged Friday to first-degree criminal damage to property. Sentencing is scheduled for May 28 before District Judge Paulette Flynn.
