The trial date for two Texas men accused of possessing Molotov cocktails while they were in town for the Republican National Convention has been rescheduled.
Officials announced last month that the trial for Bradley Crowder and David McKay would be postponed. The trial date has now been set to Jan. 26 before U.S. District Chief Judge Michael Davis in Minneapolis.
Crowder and McKay were allegedly part of an Austin, Texas-based protest group that planned to use the incendiary devices to destroy property or injure police during the convention in St. Paul.
Both men have pleaded not guilty to the charges. They remain in custody because the judge ruled them flight risks or dangers to the community.
