Just a couple of days after returning from a Washington education summit, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is headed west Thursday for another forum on the topic.
Pawlenty will be in Aspen, Colorado until Friday for the 2009 Aspen Ideas Festival. The festival's theme this year is Innovation in Education.
Specifically, he'll be part of a roundtable discussion of improving teacher quality. Other panelists are from the American Federation of Teachers, the Center for American Progress and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Pawlenty was in Washington on Monday and Tuesday for an Education Commission of the States event. Earlier in June, he was at an education summit in North Carolina.
