More than a dozen of the Shih Tzus will be cleaned and groomed at Minneapolis Animal Care and Control on Sunday, to get them ready for adoption Monday.
Animal control officials rescued 30 Shih Tzus from the home on Oct. 20. Many of the confiscated dogs had health problems, including a broken jaw, dental disease and eye problems.
Minneapolis Animal Care and Control has completed an investigation and turned the case over to the City Attorney's office for possible criminal charges.
