If you're flying out of town, you now have a convenient new place to leave your cat or dog while you're away.
Taking care of your dog is Now Boarding's game. The facility is on the Metropolitan Airports Commission's property and the building recently got a $4.5 million renovation.
People can leave their pets -- and cars -- there and then board a free shuttle bus to the airport.
The profits from Now Boarding support the Animal Humane Society and customers like that.
"They know that their pets are going to be well taken care of, they don't worry about it and that's also nice just to know that it's a win-win situation," said Andrea Hudson with Now Boarding.
Clients have their picture in a computer file with their pet, so there is no chance of mixing up owners and animals. There are private rooms for dogs, a large play area and a swimming pool.
"Fifteen minutes equals about an hour of exercise for the dog," explained Tracie Jacobson with the Animal Humane Society. "They go in, they run around. We do hope to provide therapy services in the future, but right now the pool is simply just for exercise."
Overnight boarding at Now Boarding costs from $34-42 a day, depending on the size of your pet's private room. Day care is also available for $25 a day.
Overnight guests at Now Boarding can play with day-care dogs in the giant exercise room for a small additional fee -- and all the drinks are free.
"One guest, their response was, 'Definitely, we're going to take our dogs back here. They didn't want to leave,'" Hudson said.
