Como Zoo Vying For Best Tourist Spot

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) ― Como Zoo in St. Paul is among Twin Cities attractions vying for Best Tourist Spot in the second annual Parents' Picks Awards.

Parents can pick the best of their local communities through Nickelodeon's ParentsConnect, an online resource for parenting advice.

Como Zoo is competing with six other Twin Cities nominees for Best Tourist Spot — the Mall of America, Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, St. Anthony Main: Riverplace & Theater in Minneapolis, and the Chain of Lakes in southwest Minneapolis.

You can vote online for nominees until July 15. Winners will be announced Aug. 15.

Como Park Zoo & Conservatory has free admission, but asks visitors to make a donation. The suggested amount is $2 for an adult and $1 for a child.
