Patriots' Willie Andrews Arrested On Drug Charge

LOWELL, Mass. (CBS) ― Patriots cornerback Willie Andrews will be in court Tuesday afternoon, charged with marijuana possession. A spokesman for the Middlesex District Attorney says Andrews was picked up during a traffic stop in Lowell at 9:30 a.m.

He is also charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, CBS station WBZ-TV reports.

Andrews, 24, just completed his second season with the Patriots. He was a seventh round draft pick in 2006.

Andrews plays mostly on special teams. He scored his first NFL touchdown on a 77-yard kickoff return against the Miami Dolphins in October, 2007.
