Statement From Kelly O'Rourke's Lawyer

  Statement from Minneapolis Police Officer Kelly O'Rourke's lawyer, Patrick Burns:

Kelly O'Rourke is a highly decorated Minneapolis Police Sergeant, and he vehemently denies any and all allegations of improper use of property seized by members of the Strike Force. The only item of value that Mr. O'Rourke received from his time serving on the Strike Force was a plaque, which he received for his meritorious service to the Citizens of Minnesota.

Needless to say, any statements made to the contrary are patently false, and are actionable under Minnesota law. At this time we are keeping our options open; however, we are contemplating legal action in relation to these outrageous and malicious claims against Mr. O'Rourke.
