What's That Song?

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ― What's that song? Who sings it? Where can I get it? Those are the questions we've been getting for months now. It's only 60 seconds, but somehow, it's cut through all the noise coming from your televisions and made a connection with you . . . what more could we ask for? So, here are the answers you've been looking for . . .

What's that song? The "song" is actually an original :60 track we had created for our current "Know More" campaign.

Who sings it? Local artist, PJ Tracy, is the singer, songwriter, composer AND musician (he played all the instruments, but one!). PJ was a successful artist long before we were introduced to him by his brother, former WCCO reporter, Ben Tracy. We've enjoyed working with him on this track and a variety of other projects for CCO. Check out more of PJ's work at www.pjtracymusic.com.

Where can I get it? Right here, and even better than that, it's free! Go ahead and download it, get it in your iPod, share it with your friends, and sing it at the top of your lungs. Then, when someone asks you about it, send them right back here!

Your response to this song and our on-air promo campaign just confirms what our Brand Director has long believed about the collaboration between local artists and our business, "If WCCO's about this community, then whatever we create should be in collaboration with this community." Thank you for taking the time to let us know what you think. Please check out the entire campaign at wccocreative.com.
