21-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In Woods

NAYTAHWAUSH, Minn. (AP) ― Mahnomen County sheriff's officials are trying to determine what killed a 21-year-old woman who was found dead after last being seen at a New Year's Eve party.

Sheriff's investigator Brady Burnside says Lorraine Londo's father found her body in some woods during a search Friday afternoon about a quarter of a mile from her Naytahwaush home.

Family members reported her missing Thursday evening. She had not been heard from since 3 a.m. that day after attending the party.

Burnside says foul play has not been ruled out. An autopsy is planned in Grand Forks, N.D.
